Hi friends, I’m going to be a little vulnerable here. I launched a Kickstarter to fund the audiobook for A Wisp of Faith, and with 20 days left, I’m only at 3%. Audiobooks are expensive to produce, and I truly can’t do this without your support. I believe this story matters — especially for people who don’t have time to sit and read, or who find comfort in listening. My goal is just $600, which covers basic narration costs. If you’ve ever enjoyed my writing, encouraged me, or believed in what I do, I would be so grateful for your help. Even a $5 or $10 pledge makes a real difference. And if you can’t pledge, sharing the link helps more than you know. Here is the link to share and support. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/awispoffaith/shady-springs-virtue-series-audiobook Thank you for being here and supporting indie authors like me. 💛 With gratitude, Chrystal Gilkey “God is looking for those with whom He can do the impossible – what a pity that we plan only the things that we can do by ourselves.” ― A.W. Her name is Lisa Sandlin, and she is a closed-door/cozy mystery narrator, perfect for the voice of this series! I am running a Kickstarter campaign to help cover production costs. I feel strongly about having a human...
Greetings Great Readers! Several years ago I began to read my Bible through in a year. As a result, my confidence and faith in the Lord has grown tremendously. It is amazing how many times you read His Word new things are made known. If you are interested in reading your Bible through in a year, I have created a monthly Bible calendar of Scripture readings. And for encouragement and accountability along the way, I will be posting a daily post where you can engage with me and others about the...
Hello friends! Holidays can be so hard. Especially if we have lost a loved one. If you have followed me for awhile, you know that I lost my dad a couple of years ago. I really struggled with moving forward and I just felt stuck. If you feel this, I have written about moving through grief with grace on my blog. You can read more here. I want to thank all of you for following me on this writing journey. I could not do any of this without your prayers, love, and support. I truly hope your...
